The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) focuses on improving the NHS for patients.

Our aim is to:

  • advise and support patients, their families and carers provide information on NHS services.
  • listen to your concerns or suggestions and help sort out problems quickly on your behalf.
  • help you when you need advice, have concerns, or don’t know where to turn

The PALS service is accessible to patients, their carers, friends and family. The PALS service treats every enquiry with the same level of importance and the same level of confidentiality

PALS deal with concerns in relation to Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) matters and will liaise appropriately with others to resolve cases with any commissioned service. PALS will liaise with PALS colleagues across the district, for example in hospitals, and will link into complaints staff within the CCGs as appropriate. PALS will not deal with concerns raised about primary care contractors.

We hope to establish a good relationship with you, your family and our practice Team.  We welcome suggestions and comments from you.  There is a suggestions box at the front desks in our receptions at both sites for this purpose, as well as Friends and Family Forms which you can complete as many times as you wish and leave comments, all of which are reviewed by management.  The Friends and Family Form is also available for you to complete on line below.
