As part of our “You Said”, We Did! programme we arranged for a member of the Specialist Autism team to attend one of our Patient Engagement Sessions on the 22nd August 2019
Lucy from the Specialist Autism Service attended and display information boards and supported our patients with any questions they had. Their team works exclusively for and with adults (18+) on the autism spectrum and their families. The aim for organizing this awareness day to help Picton’s patient/families, so they can be benefit from services, including social skills workshop through autism-specific learning programme, employment support, awareness training and outreach support.
