New Connected Health and Education Research – Covid -19

New Connected Health and Education Research Database Project in Bradford

The COVID19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of linked health and education data. Thanks to your continued help and support Bradford is leading the way in developing the partnerships to enable this to happen, with strong public engagement. Over the summer the team at Bradford Institute for Health Research have been working closely with the Department for Education to link, for the first time in the UK, routine health and education data. We have shown the power of this in Born in Bradford to understand the impact of education on child health conditions such as autism and asthma, and will be expanding this work to develop better predictive tools for to support earlier interventions for children most at need.
